How pricing works.

Calibrated against a portfolio of signed proposals. The patterns below apply to every engagement over $5K. Under $5K is self-serve via the storefront.

Three-alternative pricing

Every scoped proposal has three alternatives. Alt 1 is 60-65% of Alt 3. Alt 2 is 75-82% of Alt 3. Alt 3 is the comprehensive build.

50/25/25 payments

Milestone-based payments: 50% on signature, 25% at midpoint deliverable, 25% on final acceptance.

10-day acceptance

Ten business day acceptance window per milestone. Auto-accepts on day 11 if no feedback. Keeps the cadence honest.

12-month retainer

A 12-month support retainer is included in 4 of 5 large proposals. You keep the team that built it, on call, for a year.

Royalty-free code

Every engagement includes royalty-free perpetual code access for the client. You keep what we build.

First-time minimum

First-time clients have a $20,000 minimum. Can bundle services to hit it. Existing clients can engage at any size.

Volume discount

10% off after 3+ projects in a 12-month window. Applies to all subsequent projects until the rolling window resets.

Net-30 invoice

Under $5K is credit card via the storefront. $5K+ is invoice net-30. Wire, ACH, and check accepted.

The thinking behind the numbers

Why three alternatives

Every productized engagement comes with three options. This isn't upselling. It's scope discipline. Alt 1 is typically the focused version: the core deliverable, delivered well, at a price that clears most procurement hurdles. Alt 3 is the comprehensive version: deeper analysis, more data ingested, a more refined output, or a longer support window. Alt 2 is the sensible middle.

Most of our clients choose Alt 2. That's expected. It's designed to be the right answer for most situations. But we've had clients choose Alt 1 because they have the internal expertise to build on a solid foundation, and clients choose Alt 3 because they're standing up a capability for the first time and want the depth. The choice is always yours.

How payment milestones work

For all engagements over $5,000, we invoice in three payments: 50% at project start, 25% at mid-project delivery, and 25% at final delivery. You have 10 business days to accept each deliverable. If something in the deliverable isn't right, raise it within that window and we'll address it before the next milestone payment is due.

Under $5,000: credit card payment in full at time of purchase. $5,000 and above: invoice net-30. For new clients, the first invoice sometimes requires a purchase order. We're accustomed to that process and can provide all standard documentation.

First-time client minimum

Our minimum engagement size for a new client relationship is $20,000. This isn't a revenue floor for its own sake. A useful engagement requires a real data audit, a substantive kickoff, and the kind of back-and-forth that produces something worth having. Engagements below $20K almost never have the scope to do that well.

If you have a $10K budget and a clear, bounded problem, we'll tell you honestly whether it can be scoped appropriately within that number or whether we're not the right fit at this stage. For existing clients: no minimum on subsequent projects.

No hourly billing

We don't publish hourly rates, and we don't bill by the hour. Every engagement is scoped against a specific deliverable and a specific outcome. You know what you're getting and what it costs before the work begins.

This requires more work on our side upfront. The five business days we ask for to prepare a proposal isn't a formality. It's when we're actually designing the engagement. We'd rather spend time there than have an ambiguous scope cause friction later.

Payment, refunds, customization, security

What are your payment terms?

Under $5,000 is credit card via the storefront with immediate access. Engagements over $5,000 are invoiced net-30, with milestone payments of 50% on signature, 25% at midpoint, and 25% on final acceptance. We accept wire, ACH, and check.

Can I get a refund on storefront purchases?

The AI Course offers a satisfaction guarantee through the end of week 2: full refund, no questions. After week 2, refunds are pro-rated against weeks completed. Course Recordings and the AI Toolkit are non-refundable once accessed; we ship a free preview sample on request so you can evaluate before purchase.

How customizable is a productized engagement?

Every productized engagement has a fixed scope and three pricing alternatives, but the scope itself is negotiated against your specific data and category. Alt 1 is the focused version, Alt 2 is the standard scope, Alt 3 is the comprehensive build. If your situation doesn't fit any of the productized offerings, we'll quote a fully custom engagement on a separate proposal.

Who owns the code and models?

The client owns royalty-free perpetual access to all code and model weights produced in the engagement. We retain the right to use generalized methods and methodology learnings in future work, but never your data, your prompts, or your trained model weights.

What's the security posture?

SOC 2 Type II audit is in progress, landing 2026. Currently, our infrastructure inherits SOC 2 from Vercel (compute) and Neon (Postgres). Our THEUS platform uses Zero-Persistence Architecture by default: a 24-hour ephemeral cache, with durable storage only after explicit org admin opt-in. Audit logs are emitted on every workspace lifecycle event. For deeper review, request the Trust Center pack.

Do you offer on-prem deployment?

Yes. On-prem deployment is an add-on to any enterprise tier: +$40K-$60K setup and +$25K-$40K/yr support. We also offer Aigora-Hosted Cloud as a middle ground: $15K-$25K/yr base, with you supplying your own AI provider keys. Both options support BYO AI keys to keep token spend visible to your team.

How long does a typical engagement take?

Productized engagements run 2 to 6 months end-to-end. Audits and assessments are 2-6 weeks. Most full builds (a custom dashboard, a Forethought pilot, a Sensory Intelligence Platform) are 10-16 weeks. Enterprise platform partnerships are annual contracts with quarterly business reviews and milestone-based deliverables throughout the year.

Can I start with a small project before committing?

Yes. The Simulated Panel Starter Kit ($2.5K-$5K), AI Deep Research Report ($500-$2K), or AI Slide Deck Generation ($2K-$8K) are designed as low-friction entry points. First-time clients usually start with a $10K-$25K audit or assessment before scoping a larger build. The $20,000 first-time minimum can be hit through any combination of these.
